This position is responsible for advanced planning of lunch menus and snacks in accordance with the Canada Food Guide, compliant with regulatory requirements and responsive to serious allergies and food restrictions. Ensures the licensed childcare centre meets health and safety requirements through active participation on the Joint Health and Safety Committee. Provides support to classroom Educators as required. </p><p>Desired Minimum Knowledge, Education and Experience</p><p>• High school Diploma</p><p>• Food Safety Certification and a minimum of 1 year related experience. </p><p>• Early Childhood Development Diploma an asset.</p><p>• Willingness to attend professional development and training</p><p>• Process initiative, organizational and teamwork skills</p><p>• Knowledge of issues facing military families and their unique lifestyle an asset</p><p>• Standard First Aid and CPR</p><p>• Bilingualism (French and English) an asset </p><p>• Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Check</p><p>• Must be eligible to undergo Department of National Defence reliability screening.
